Lyre's Bourbon Alternative is the new name and bottle design for the product previously sold as Lyre's American Malt. The new bottle is labelled Bourbon Alternative; older bottles were labelled American Malt. Packaging may vary while remaining stock transitions.

Generous vanilla and toasted nut flavours meet mellow caramel, sweet spice, herbal notes and charred cedar oak, finishing smooth and gently spiced.

How to Enjoy

Mix with cola over ice, or use in an alcohol-free Old Fashioned, Whiskey Sour, Manhattan-style drink or Boulevardier. Garnish with orange peel where desired.

I agree with the review about a teaspoon of the drink but no taste. It smells ok ,kind of peppery so promising…..but there is no taste to it. NOthing, nada,zilch!!

I usually drink Noot Green Apple which is lovely but hard to get so thought I would try this….no good…won’t buy again.
Tasteless…like really tasteless…even more confusing is how come some people are giving 5 stars??????comes back soon 😐

Great substitute

I had high hopes but it was horrible. Tastes like a teaspoon of whisky mixed with a full glass of water while drinking straight. Yuck
